Work: Retoration of old stone cottage. Refurbishment of 2 buildings. External works
This large property included for several buildings. The main one was an old stone cottage, partly collapsed. Attached to this, the old owner added a large extension built with modern materials. The second building, was a large werehouse,built in reinforced concrete and holow core blocks.
There were also several outbuildings, used for animal recoveries.
The two main buildings now accommodate the main house and the guest house. The main house lounge and master bedroom are located in old stone-built. This was caringly restored, to retaine the original features. The old roof was replaced using traditional materials. The modern part was converted into accommodation, and completed with modern finishes and services.
Extensive works involved the interior and exterior of the buildings and the outdoor areas.
The partially collapsed part of the stone cottage was retained. The old paving was reinstated. It accommodated a moroccan-style outood seating area.
